7th August was our day of arrival. After a long and hard
journey by plane, train and bus we arrived at at the dormitory in Vukovar late
in the evening. After a big welcome, the people who just arrived went to have dinner.
Later on, there was a little game to get to now each other, because of the new
participants and another one for finding our room and room mates. After
bringing our luggage into our rooms, we were sitting together outside and
playing the guitar.
So, after a (for some people long, and exhausting and for others short and nice) trip,the friends that met each other last year in Germany gathered once again in Vukovar, Croatia. From the moment they came into the backyard of the beautiful students' dormitory of Vukovar, the reunion started. 44 people, six countries, one goal: Get up, Speak up and Get active for a united and peaceful Europe.
When we asked Jasminka, a girl from Croatia, how she traveled, she answered: „Well, the trip was not so long, but it was fun, because in the train I saw the rest of the group, people from Germany and Poland. Funny thing is that I haven’t paid the ticket!“ After a short rest, we played a game in order to find our room. In the evening, you could hear a lot of voices from the rooms, where the only topic was remambering old times in Germany. So, the reunion could start!!
